The webinar will explore the science challenges of mHealth informatics, critical care data analysis and the application of signal processing and machine learning to address health disparities in the Southern United States.

About Santosh Kumar and Gari Clifford:

Dr. Kumar is director of the Center of Excellence for Mobile Sensor Data-to-Knowledge (MD2K) and the Moss Chair of Excellence Professor of Computer Science at the University of Memphis. He will speak on the “Promise and Potential of Mobile Sensor Data-to-Knowledge.”More about Santosh Kumar.

Dr. Clifford is Interim Chair of Emory University’s Department of Biomedical Informatics and an Associate Professor of Biomedical Informatics and Biomedical Engineering at Emory and Georgia Institute of Technology. He will speak on “Improving health, privacy, and programming literacy for minority empowerment.” More about Gari Clifford.
