mHealth Training Institute

The mHealth Training Institute is an annual program funded by the National Institutes of Health and conducted at the University of California, Los Angeles. The main goal of the mHealth Training Institute is to develop investigators with the multidisciplinary skills needed to generate high-quality mHealth research and solutions. These skills include working in interdisciplinary teams that value inputs from both the health sector and technology worlds. Participants with leave the Institute with a broad-based exposure to the various facets of mobile technology enabled healthcare experience as well as experience in creating mHealth solutions in an interdisciplinary setting.

The week-long immersion program provides 30-35 selected participants with a core educational grounding in mHealth perspectives and methodologies and help inculcate the intrapersonal and interpersonal skills and attitudes necessary for transdisciplinary collaborations.
