Writer, performer, and public speaking coach Monte Montgomery has seen his work produced on stage, screen, and television, and has sold scripts to Universal Pictures, Fox Television, USA Network, HBO, and the David Geffen Company. 
Monte has also frequently worked as a writer, director, and consultant in the public health field, often with Johnson & Johnson and its affiliated companies. He has created award-winning educational videos addressing such issues as doctor-patient relationships, asthma, nutrition, smoking, diet, HIV/AIDS, cholesterol, insomnia, depression, physical activity, etc. 
In the academic sphere, Monte is in the fourth year of his appointment as Storyteller-in-Residence for the University of Michigan School of Public Health. He has also had three books for young readers published: Hubert Invents the Wheel, co-written with wife Claire (Walker/Bloomsbury), Kid Confidential: An Insider's Guide to Grown-Ups (also from Walker), and Melvin Invents Music, (CBAY Books).
