David Clark, Dr.Ph.

Program official at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR

David has been with the Behavioral and Social Sciences Research Branch (BSSRB) at the NIDCR since 2009. Prior to joining the NIDCR David worked at the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the University of Kentucky Center for Drug and Alcohol Research, and the alcohol and drug treatment program at the VA Medical Center San Diego. He received his DrPH with an emphasis on epidemiology from the University of Kentucky and his MPH with an emphasis on health services research from San Diego State University. Part of David’s portfolio of grants at the NIDCR includes mHealth applications, maximizing use of electronic health records, and systems science. Within the NIH David is an active participant in the following working groups: Science of Behavior Change, mHealth, Dissemination & Implementation Research, Health Economics, and Tobacco & Nicotine Research.
